Tim Harper

Tim Harper is a serial entrepreneur and investor in emerging technologies. He is a former engineer with the European Space Agency’s R&D center in Norrdwijk, Netherlands, and in the course of his career has launched the first atomic force microscope to ever fly in space and analyze comet dust. Tim is also founder of Cientifica, the worlds most respected nanotechnology information and forecasting company and co-founder of Nanosight, where he brought an entirely new scientific instrument to market. In 1999, he organized the world’s first nanotechnology investing conference in Seville, Spain. Since then he has had the opportunity to successfully run the World Nanoeconomic Congress across four continents. In 2001 he founded the EuropeanNanoBusiness Association and currently continues to advise governments on technology strategy.
