Ignacio Pérez Dolset

Ignacio Pérez Dolset is Co-President of Grupo Zed, particularly overseeing the Group’s Innovation and Product Development sectors. Perez Dolset’s extensive entrepreneurial background began with the opening of Proein in 1993, and continued with the creation of Pyro Studios. The latter was responsible for the successful launch of Commandos in 1998—a videogame that quickly reached the #1 spot across 17 different countries, immediately making Ignacio a leader within the European gaming sector and catapulting his name to be recognized as one of the most international videogame developers in Spain. He also had the opportunity to work on Planet 51, Spain’s highest earning film of 2009 and winner of the Goya award for best animation. Since June 2010, Perez Dolset has been president of AMETIC (Área Sectorial de Contenidos Digitales) and  DEV, the Spanish Assocation for Companies Developing Videogames and Software Entertainment. Ignacio has also recently founded a new university project called U-TAD (Centro universitario de Tecnología y arte Digital), focusing on the development and growth of academic programs within the digital content industry
